Seedance, for stories with a visual direction.
Seedance is ByteDance's video model family. Its official materials describe text and image generation, multi-shot storytelling and evolving reference controls. HappyBloom includes Seedance in the planning catalog; a live integration is not currently connected.
From short shots to reference-led stories
The original Seedance 1.0 page describes text- and image-driven multi-shot video with 1080p output. ByteDance's July 31, 2026 Seedance 2.5 announcement describes up to 30-second single-pass audio-video generation, multimodal references and timestamp-based editing. These are vendor descriptions, not capabilities verified in this workspace.
Prepare references with a purpose
Label which reference defines the character, composition, camera or movement. Conflicting materials make the intent harder to express. Organize references in Your Space and keep a short shot brief beside them instead of treating every uploaded file as equally important.
Check availability before committing credits
Version availability, API access and permitted uses can differ by provider and region. Consult the official Seedance release information rather than assuming every platform exposes the same features. HappyBloom's preview is a separate zero-credit demo, not Seedance output.
An idea to start with
An original animated explorer crosses a luminous forest. Opening wide shot, gentle tracking shot through the trees, then a close-up as a glowing flower opens. Consistent character and warm amber palette.

Is Seedance connected to HappyBloom?
No. It is available as a planning and quote option only. The current preview does not call Seedance or charge generation credits.
